Fomo app

Fomo app lets you compare trade history with holdings before trying again

Fomo app provides trade history and portfolio tracking that help you check a submitted trade against your holdings. Before trying again, find the original attempt and compare its outcome with the relevant token quantities. An unchanged portfolio value alone does not establish that the trade failed.

The short version: Match the original trade record with token quantities before treating an unchanged portfolio display as a reason to submit another order.

Record matching before recovery

A routine completion check connects the trade record with the holding that the transaction changed. A recovery check begins when those views disagree or the original attempt remains unresolved. Both require the same starting information: the selected token, trade direction, submitted amount and approximate submission time. Keep those details together so that a nearby transaction does not become a mistaken match.

The immediate task is to establish what happened to that attempt. Repeating a purchase can create another purchase if the first one already executed. Repeating a sale can reduce a holding further than intended. A second submission also makes the history harder to interpret because similar attempts now sit close together.

A missing original record blocks a confident retry

The original attempt needs an identifiable outcome before a repeat order becomes a controlled decision. If history contains no clear match, treat the submission as unresolved. A missing entry does not, by itself, explain whether the app submitted the request, whether processing continues or whether the display lacks an update.

A missing original record blocks a confident retry: Fomo provides transaction and trade history alongside portfolio tracking. Use those views to establish the account activity that you can actually identify. Read whatever transaction details the app exposes rather than assuming a particular status label or menu layout. Where an identifier is available, retain it with the submission details. Without a reliable match, avoid changing the trade amount merely to test whether another attempt works.

How can I distinguish an incomplete trade from a failed trade?

An incomplete trade has not finished executing; an unknown outcome means you cannot yet tell whether it completed or failed. A confirmed failure requires an explicit failure result for the matching attempt. Elapsed time alone does not establish either state.

No final outcome

A loading screen or missing update describes what the interface currently shows. It does not prove what happened during execution. Keep the original submission details available while checking for a matching history entry. An error that concerns loading data also needs different treatment from an error that explicitly rejects a trade.

No final outcome: Uncertainty is a reason to pause another submission.

An explicit failure

A failure result supports troubleshooting when it belongs to the exact attempt under review. Read its explanation before changing anything. An amount problem calls for examining the amount and available balance; a market execution problem calls for examining the quote and trading conditions. Neither establishes that every other recent attempt also failed.

If the record reports failure while the relevant holding appears to have changed, reconcile that discrepancy first. Another purchase, sale or transfer may account for the difference. Do not assign the balance movement to the failed attempt without a matching record.

Token quantities separate execution from price movement

Token quantities provide a clearer completion check than the portfolio's total displayed value because market prices also change that value. A purchase can add tokens while their falling price reduces the holding's displayed worth. A sale can reduce token units while a price increase makes the remaining position look similar in value.

Compare the acquired or disposed quantity with the corresponding trade details. Include other transactions during the same interval when reconciling the change. For a holding with no other movements, the difference between its starting and ending quantity should agree with the recorded acquisition or disposal. If other activity occurred, that simple comparison no longer isolates this trade.

Profit and loss views answer a performance question. They do not replace the transaction record when the question is whether a particular order executed.

An estimate and an executed amount answer different questions

A quoted estimate describes the trade before execution, while the executed amount describes what the trade actually exchanged. Comparing only the estimate with the final holding can therefore create a false impression of missing tokens.

Slippage is the difference between an expected execution price and the actual execution price. Market movement and available liquidity affect execution. Compare the final transaction quantities with the holding, then examine the estimate separately to understand the difference. A completed trade can have an unfavorable execution price; that is a pricing issue rather than evidence that another submission is necessary.

An estimate and an executed amount answer different questions: Keep token units and monetary values separate throughout the comparison.; A fee amount, a token quantity and a displayed portfolio value describe different parts of the transaction.

Cost checks before changing an amount

A fresh attempt requires a fresh cost review because its amount and market conditions may differ from the original submission. Preserve the spending boundary that you intended. Do not assume that a smaller order has the same proportional cost or that an earlier estimate still applies.

The displayed transaction cost

Fomo uses gas sponsorship so users do not need separate native gas tokens for eligible transactions. Network fees may still apply on select EVM networks such as Ethereum. Adding a separate gas token is not a general remedy for a failed Fomo trade. Examine the balance requirement and cost information associated with the actual transaction. Some third-party costs may be absent from the displayed estimate or change at settlement. Distinguish charges already included in a displayed total from any separately itemized amount so that you do not count the same cost twice.

The amount available at the quoted price

Liquidity affects how much a trade moves the execution price. Fomo exposes liquidity and trading volume information on token pages. These figures provide context for a fresh quote, but they do not confirm your earlier trade. Reducing the amount changes the proposed transaction; it does not resolve an unknown outcome or guarantee that the revised trade will execute.

Conditions for one controlled retry

Consider an attempt whose matching record explicitly reports failure and whose relevant holdings reconcile without that trade. A retry becomes a separate transaction with its own cost and outcome. If another earlier submission remains unresolved, establish its outcome before retrying; changing the amount cannot reveal what happened to it.

If the failure identifies an amount or balance problem, one possible adjustment is a revised amount that fits the displayed requirements. Make that change only after confirming the first attempt's outcome. Use these checks before and after submitting the revised transaction:

  • If the original outcome remains unknown, pause the retry and retain its submission details.
  • If the matching attempt explicitly failed, identify the stated reason before changing the amount.
  • If the amount caused the rejection, review a revised amount against the available balance and displayed costs.
  • If the new quote exceeds the intended spending boundary, leave the revised trade unsubmitted.
  • If you submit the revised trade, match its own result with the resulting token quantities before treating the task as complete.

The revised attempt closes the issue only when its recorded outcome and the relevant holdings agree. A disappearing error message supplies less information than that match. If the revised attempt also fails, preserve both records so that further troubleshooting can distinguish them.

Can reopening the app prove that my trade failed?

Reopening the app cannot establish that a submitted trade failed; it only gives you another opportunity to inspect the displayed information. A screen that loads successfully does not reverse an earlier transaction. Check the original attempt after reopening rather than treating the fresh screen as permission to repeat it. If the app still cannot show enough information to identify the outcome, keep the issue unresolved.

Useful details for an unresolved mismatch

A support report becomes more useful when it describes the disagreement precisely. Preserve the relevant records before more trading makes the sequence harder to reconstruct.

The transaction details

Include the selected token, direction, submitted amount and approximate time, with the time zone. Add the transaction identifier if one is available. Quote the error text exactly and distinguish the original attempt from any later submission. A screenshot can preserve wording that disappears after the interface updates.

Describe which facts conflict. A failure message alongside a quantity change differs from an absent history entry alongside an unchanged balance. Include the specific discrepancy rather than assuming that either screen supplies the complete explanation.

The account and display context

Confirm that the compared views concern the same account and relevant wallet. Note whether the problem concerns one transaction or whether history fails to load generally. Device and app version details can help identify a display problem, but they do not replace the transaction information.

Use the support contact provided through the app or its verified store listing. A transaction investigation does not require you to send someone a private key, password or sign-in code.

When is the trade completion check finished?

The check is finished when the matching trade outcome explains the relevant change, or absence of change, in your holdings. A successful purchase should reconcile with the recorded acquisition. A successful sale should reconcile with the recorded disposal. A confirmed failure should not be mistaken for a completed exchange.

Preserve the transaction details if a remaining difference involves fees or execution price, since those questions may need their own explanation. Once completion is established, another trade is a new decision with a new quote. The completion check remains unresolved if the matching record is missing, its outcome is unknown or other account activity prevents the quantities from reconciling.

Common questions about Fomo app

Does a notification about another trader confirm that my Fomo trade executed?

A notification about another trader does not confirm execution in your account. Social activity concerns that trader's transaction, while your submission has its own outcome. Even when the token and direction match, the other trader's amount and execution price do not establish what happened to your order.

Why might two similar entries appear after I tapped again?

Tapping again may submit another order, but two similar entries alone do not establish that both orders executed. Compare each entry's identifier, outcome and quantities where available. If both represent completed trades, include both when reconciling the holding. Do not assume that the later entry replaced the earlier one.

Can a deposit record confirm that my purchase completed?

A completed deposit record confirms funding, not the purchase that you intended to make afterward. Funding and trading change different parts of the account. Locate the purchase record separately before interpreting the deposited balance as evidence that the selected token arrived.

Is a screenshot enough to resolve a disputed trade?

A screenshot preserves the displayed information, but it may omit the details needed to identify the transaction. Include the submission time, token, direction and available identifier when describing the issue. Crop unrelated account activity and personal information before sharing the image, while keeping the relevant error text readable.

Will checking the same account on a desktop cancel a mobile submission?

Opening the account on a desktop does not cancel a transaction that you submitted on mobile. Fomo supports continuing account activity across those interfaces, so treat them as views of the same trading activity. A second device should not become a second submission while the first attempt remains unresolved.
